Happy holidays and a special thanks to all of you as fans to our Every Child Is Beautiful Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Every-Child-Is-Beautiful/132912056642?ref=nf ! A few of our latest updates:
Thank you to the Southwestern IN Arts Council for letting us be one of three guest artists displaying at 5/3 Bank in downtown Evansville for the month of December. Stop on by if you get a chance!!!
We are SO PROUD of our Every Child Is Beautiful child Shaan Joshi for his strides at learning how to walk! It is through the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center that he is receiving this wonderful learning opportunity! Way to go Shaan!!!
As a reminder if you or a group that you know is interested in bringing in the exhibit to your community, please don’t hesitate to let me know. The purpose of the book and the exhibit is to help facilitate dialogue with our younger generation in a manner that is simple for you to open the conversation and easy for them to understand. I look forward to the exhibit going April 2 – May 15, 2010 to the South Shore Arts- Crown Point Branch 138 South Main Street, 46307 as part of the “See The World Through My Eyes” Autism Awareness Celebration, and I hope that if you have a similar need, that you will consider bringing the exhibit to your town!
If you feel like it, please take the time to share the site via the “Suggest to Friends” button on the Facebook page, and for anyone interested, the books do make a wonderful Christmas gift. They can be purchased through the http://www.everychildisbeautiful.com website, and as a reminder all proceeds go to benefit the Easter Seals Southwestern IN.
Warmest regards,
Nikki Davis
